Return Policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

We strive very hard to ship your order quickly and correctly. Should you receive an incorrect or defective item, we will gladly accept it for return or exchange. If returned for refund, you will be credited 100% of the cost of the item plus shipping.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

For all other returns:

  • There is a 20% restocking fee for returns. Please package all returns carefully in order to avoid damage in transit.
  • You must contact us via email at info@theinkpadnyc.com to request a Return Authorization Number (RAN). This number must be printed clearly on the outside of your box.
  • Any package returned without an authorization number will be refused and sent back to the customer.
  • You must contact us within 10 days of receipt of the original shipment. Returns cannot be accepted if the Return Authorization Number (RAN) is not requested within the 10-day timeframe. 
  • Items returned will be accepted in unopened and unused condition only.
  • Any item(s) that have been opened, used or damaged will not be accepted and returned to the customer at customer's expense.
  • Sale items are not returnable and cannot be refunded.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a 5 business days.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace and exchange items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange a product for the same item, send us an email at info@theinkpadnyc.com. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned or refunded.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@theinkpadnyc.com.

If you wish to return an item you received as a gift, please contact us for approval according to the instructions above. If your return is approved, we will send a refund in the form of store credit to the gift giver once your item(s) has been received in new, unused condition.

Return Shipping
To return your approved refund or exchange, you should mail it to: The Ink Pad  233 West 19th St. New York New York US 10011. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
