August is an especially colorful month in my Traveler's Notebook, particularly the Monthly Free Diary section in which I record all of my assignments and projects. Thanks to some fairly awesome Everyday Explorers Co stamps from The Ink Pad.
I used the Calendar Days set and a rainbow of Distress Oxide Inks to fill in all the days of the month; the days of the week (stamped in black) are from the same set. I didn't use a tiny calendar from the Let's Be Explorers Planner Months this time, but I often do and again, it's a very helpful set. The large open letterforms of these fabulous Alpha Masks and Stencils from Dina Wakley Media were brilliant for making a super-blendy vertical title.
I like to have a visual reminder of all the projects I've posted in any given month. It helps me to look back and see what I've done, and also to look forward and plan what I'd like to do next. This really helps me stay fresh and make sure that I'm using a variety of colors, styles and formats. To fill in the days I add little snippets and leftovers from the actual projects whenever I can; or just a handwritten notation if that isn't possible. This month I've also used EEC's craft-centric Add to Cart set, which has great words and icons, so I know you'll be seeing it again and again!
Be sure to check out ALL the amazing products from Everyday Explorer's Co in The Ink Pad's online store... I'm pretty sure there's something to fit everyone's taste! ♥
