I've always loved vintage and shabby chic style cards, but I've just discovered how to make them even more appealing, by adding Tim Holtz Baseboard Dolls from The Ink Pad!
The images are similar to those in Tim's Found Relatives portrait series, but these are backed with super-thick, not at all bend-able chipboard, and they're diecut really precisely, so that you can place them into any scene or background. There are 36 in a package, of various scales, so that you can probably find the right size and shape for any project.
I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add the pattern from my Stampers Anonymous Doodle It 1 Stencil onto kraft paper. I added torn vintage paper from various LB Collage Assortments and a few Appree Pressed Flower Stickers, then let Beatrice (the baseboard dolls don't actually have names, but this one definitely seems like a Beatrice, don't you think?) take center stage.
There are so many fabulous Tim Holtz products at The Ink Pad, I bet there are a few you've never even seen before; plus we have the gorgeous new Distress Color, Rustic Wilderness in eight different products!
is a huge fan of
vintage... well, everything!
