Dare 2B Artzy's Wavy Slimline Dies and Nature Backgrounds Clear Stamps are each lovely and useful in their own right; but when I saw them, I wondered if they might be even better together? And I think I was right about that!
I cut the three long Wavy Slimline borders once each from a 9x3" panel of sturdy white cardstock. Since the dies have the cute dot detail on both sides, it means you can use both sides of the cut in your design, which is cool. I stamped each segment with one of the seven stamps from the Nature Backgrounds clear stamp set, choosing a different Distress Oxide color for each. I paired the little daisies with Kitsch Flamingo, the berry branches with Evergreen Bough, the tulips with Seedless Preserves, the smaller leaf sprigs with Twisted Citron, the larger leaves with Lucky Clover, the raindrops with Mermaid Lagoon and the mushrooms with Spiced Marmalade. Then I cut a matching cardstock mat for each panel, so they would stand out from each other. I affixed them all to a 5x7" panel, staggering the cuts so that each segment showed off to best advantage. I matted the whole thing on black, stitched around the edges carrrrrrrefully with my sewing machine and added a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's excellent Thanks, Thanks, Thanks stamp set.
Since the dies are nine inches long and my card was an A7, I had some little patterned offcuts that were too pretty to toss, so I made those into a quilt-like panel that I used on a second not-quite-A2-sized card.
