It's hard to believe we're already a third of the way through October, but the calendar in my 2020 Traveler's Notebook assures me that's the case. So this seems like a good time to show off this month's spread and then talk about my 2021 set-up, featuring some fabulous new finds from The Ink Pad!
It's no secret that I LOVE color and especially love for the pages in my TN Free Diary Monthly, which records all of my creative assignments, to be bright and cheerful. I was inspired by the beautiful MT Washi Waving Tapes, in Blue and Red, and used them down the side of the righthand page, as an accent at the bottom. I even applied it to some plain white cardstock to create my title using Altenew's Bold Alphabet Dies. I stamped all of the days of October in Memento Tuxedo Black using Kelly's Outline Letters from Hero Arts and colored them in with my super-useful, double-tipped Zebra Mildliners. For the lower title, I used the outlines and some of the fun fill patterns in the set, stamped in bold shades of Versafine Clair Ink. I filled in the details with luscious Fluorescent Moonlight Gelly Roll Pens.
On October first the 2021 Traveler's Notebook Products were released and TIP was excited to be amongst the first in NYC to have them in stock! Check out our TN Master Post for an overview of all the items we carry and how to get started with your own Traveler's Notebook. Meanwhile, here's my chosen set-up for next year. On the principle of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" I've mostly duplicated this year's basics. I've got the 2021 Weekly and Memo Refill for my Regular Sized Binder Cover, and I'm trying out the dated 2021 Monthly Diary. I also treated myself to a few accessories: this year's Traveler's Theme is Books, so I couldn't resist the Customizing Sticker Set. And a Brass Bookmark Template.
