New Product: Kitta Washi Strips

I'm test driving a completely new (to The Ink Pad) product: King Jim Kitta Washi Tape Strips. They are actual thin, sheer, 2 x 3/8” strips of washi tape, which have a backer like stickers have. You easily peel the backer off and apply the neat strips to you project. They come in dozens of styles and are great for adding photos & ephemera to journals, Using as page flags and borders, making patterns, spelling out words and... well, I'm excited to find other creative uses, but let me show you what I've done so far:
For my first card, I used half a dozen strips form the Drawing set to create a fun border around my Dina Wakley Collage Words sentiment block, and then a couple from the Frame set to hold the focal panel (complete with beautiful Pepin Vintage Fashion lady!) to the card.
My very first thought when I saw these, was how fun they would be to make patterns and backgrounds, especially since each set of four tapes are coordinated to be mix-and-matchable. I used Fluorescent Graphic to make a sort of running bond brick pattern and Fluorescent Oriental to make a cool diagonal corner. I adorned the other side of the two cards with Eyelet Outlet Stiched Flower Brads, Stalogy Circle Patches and Circle Stickers from Eagle Japan.
There are several dozen Kitta varieties currently available-- including Slim Tapes which have eight 2 x 1/4" tapes instead of four 2 x 3/8" --and we've so obsessed with these, there are already more styles on order, so treat yourself to one or two and start creating!
