I love Zig Clean Color Dot Markers, so I'm super excited that The Ink Pad has sets of four, in bright colors and metallics; as well as a larger set of twelve bold shades. And of course there are eight individual colors, in case you're like me and you want to TRY a new style of pen before committing to a whole set!
I love making mandalas, and dot mandalas are especially fun, but you really do need to have the correct tools. Double-ended Dot Markers have two tips, which is really handy... the larger one makes quite a few different sizes of dot, depending on how much pressure you use; while the smaller tip makes perfect tiny dots and is also is great for writing or outlining. For that matter, you can write with the larger end as well, it makes a fun chunky line for lettering or doodles!
I used LDRS' Pretty Patterns Slim Line Dies to add dimension to one of my mandalas, just by arranging and stacking the squares and circles in different combinations, before adding additional details with the Dot Markers and finishing off with some Waffle Flower Enamel Dots.
Of course, you can do much more than mandalas with Dot Markers, I had fun making a bunch of different patterns using the Four Brights set, and if you search for "dot art" and "dot mandala" on google, pinterest or instagram, you'll get lots more ideas!
goal is to try ALL the pens!
