Did She Say, "Sticker Collage?"

Yes! I did say, "sticker collage" because it's another cool way to use stickers, especially these awesome Translucent Industrial Drawing Sticker Assortments which are exclusive to The Ink Pad.

These beauties are printed on vellum, so they're sheer; and on a light colored background the vellum is basically invisible! Which means you really can use them in a collage, and even overlap them. You could also apply them on top of text paper or other collage elements; but in this case, I just used plain white cardstock so the stickers would be the stars of the show.

I covered an entire 4x5.25" panel with industrial blueprints, facsimile text documents, office memoranda, etc; allowing some of them to run off the edge, for a more dynamic look. There are 40+ stickers in each pack, so I didn't even use half of them! I affixed the typewriter and my sentiment to scraps of a soft green gel print, matted the whole thing on bright green Idea-Ology Metallic Jewel cardstock and mounted it to my A2 card.

The Ink Pad's Chelsea store, at 233 West 19th Street, is open this week (July 7-12) Tuesday through Saturday, from 11am to 5pm each day; observing all NY City and State guidelines. Stop by and say hi if you're in the neighborhood!
