What could be handier to a cardmaker than a stamp that can cover your whole card?! Because that's what the stamps in Hero Arts' Bold Prints line do, and there are quite a few available at The Ink Pad! This one is called Triangle Tapestry.
These are BIG (6" square!) stamps, so I always use my full-sized, original MISTI to get perfect coverage. In this case, I made a couple of blended Distress Oxide backgrounds and stamped the Bold Print design in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. The orange panel has Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick and Wilted Violet; the other consists of Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio. As an alternative to ink-blended background, this technique works well on top of gel printing "mistakes" or ghost prints.
I used the nearly entire stamped panel for my orange/red/purple card, and layered on some Altenew Bold Print Alphabet Diecuts to spell "happy" with a little flag stamped using Concord & 9th's All the Birthdays stamp set. I used several other stamps from the same set, directly on a slimline-sized ink-blended panel, then layered a torn portion of my purple/blue/pistachio Triangle Tapestry for a funky look.
