I love stickers, generally; and Appree Pressed Flower Stickers particularly. There are nearly thirty different varieties and I expect I will work my way through most of them, but today I decided to use up some open packs of Lilac, Apple Blossom, Ivy, Bracken, Rapeseed Flowers and Butterflies. I've paired them with my Dina Wakley Alphabet Stencils.
In each letter of my sentiments, I blended Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxides with Picket Fence Studios' Life Changing Blender Brushes and when dry I outlined with a Pitt Artist Pen. Then came the fun part... adding the stickers! As noted above, for the "Bloom" card I used individual photo realistic flowers from a bunch of different packages; as if a wildflower garden was growing up around the word. And with this many flowers, you have to expects some Butterflies to show up as well.
For the "Hi" card I had only one Lilac sticker left, but it was a nice large one, so I placed it to the side of my sentiment and surrounded it with Bracken and Ivy leaves. And yes, more butterflies fluttered by.
By the way, that beautiful Dina Wakley Alphabet set has both stencils and masks, which makes it twice as nice, don't you think? Be sure to check out the entire garden of beautiful Appree Pressed Flower Stickers at The Ink Pad!
