...is always fascinating and beautiful to me. Which is why I love this Hero Arts "Crafting Tools" Bold Prints Stamp from The Ink Pad. It's a 6" square, which means you can cover a lot of real estate, lol! But if you felt like making, say, an A2 card, you could still use it in a scaled-down fashion, keeping all the impact!
I stamped the entire Crafting Tools image on plain white cardstock and used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color it. I recently treated myself to the Set of 36 and also the 10pc Add-on Set which has additional neutrals and pastels; and they are so much fun to color with!
I used my nested heart dies to cut out the biggest heart that would fit comfortably on an A2 cardfront. Then I colored some of the extra tools from the background that I could scatter around the heart. I chose them based on the most interesting shapes, but also... let's be real... I tried to pick the ones that would be a little easier to cut out!!! ;) I made a small collage with all my elements on a background on which I had previously used my Picket Fence Studio Blender Brushes to create a gradient of Distress Oxides in Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber and Dried Marigold. Finally, I used my old-school labelmaker to create the sentiment, "Make Art Every Day"... words to live by right there!
I hope you'll be inspired to look at your larger-sized stamps and consider how you could make them work in a project of any dimension. Meanwhile, do check out Hero Arts' Bold Prints Line, they are BIG fun! ♥
in a zen kind of way!
