Halloween is nearly upon us, but there's still time to make and send some BOO-tiful cards to our friends and family. Here's one that features cuuuuute Lawn Fawn critters, luscious Distress Oxide Inks, and some fab new die sets from The Ink Pad.
There may be cardmakers in the world who can resist tiny Foxes in Costumes, but I'm just not one of them. I colored this scarily sweet skeleton and his friend with Karin Brushmarkers and added a little shading with very sharp colored pencils. I built a simple landscape background with a Speckled Egg sky and Twisted Citron toned down with Old Paper and diecut into Grass; then used an absolutely amazing LDRS Slim Line Corner Scallop Die Set (it has 14 dies!) to polish off my panels. The black layer is my new favorite specialty paper: American Crafts Chalkboard Cardstock. My sentiment is Altenew's Bold Alphabet diecut from cardstock on which I blended deep dark Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet Oxides so the sweet characters --and my Eyelet Outlet Pumpkin and Leaf Brads-- would really pop.
favorite Halloween candy
is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!
